Along with being a volunteer educator with Marine Science Afloat. I am also a Kitsap Beach Naturalist volunteer doing low-tide education at Kitsap County Public Beaches.

Evening with the Drifters

Kitsap Beach Naturalists Low-Tide Explorations.

Evening with the Drifters

  • Sat May 2nd and Sat Aug 18th
  •   8 PM   to 10 PM  
  • Explore the world of Plankton at Indianola Dock. Plankton Sample around sunset along with doing some sub-tidal exploration via an underwater Drone. We will then do a group exploration of the amazing world of plankton using a video microscope. Meet swimming plants, phytoplankton, larval crab, 

  • Sat May 2nd and Sat Aug 18th
  •   8 PM   to 10 PM  
  • Explore the world of Plankton at Indianola Dock. Plankton Sample around sunset along with doing some sub-tidal exploration via an underwater Drone. We will then do a group exploration of the amazing world of plankton using a video microscope. Meet swimming plants, phytoplankton, larval crab, clams, sea stars maybe even baby octopus.
  • This is a public event open to everyone.
