Visit us at Ocean Career Day on Jan 28th

Visit PMR Board Member Shelly Hall at our Marine Science Afloat™ table at Seattle Aquarium's Ocean Career Day on Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 9am to 2pm. 

The Aquarium sponsors this event as "an opportunity for middle, high school and college students to learn about educational, volunteer, internship and career opportunities at a variety of colleges, nonprofits and government institutions." Parents, guardians and teachers are encouraged to attend. There will be formal presentations from marine science professionals and a panel presentation from representatives of colleges and universities. Marine related organizations and programs, like Marine Science Afloat™, will host information tables where students can interact with marine professionals and learn more about career opportunities.

This is also a great opportunity for those interested in working or volunteering for Pacific Marine Research to stop by and learn more about our program.

This event is free to Seattle Aquarium members. Tickets are $5 each for students, parents and teachers who pre-register and $10 at the door.
